(Phnom Penh): In the first three months of 2025, trade between Cambodia and its major trading partners reached over $14.44 billion, an increase of 15.6% compared to the same period in 2024, which was over $12 billion. This is according to a report from the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia.
According to the same data, Cambodia exported major goods worth approximately $6.87 billion, an increase of 9.8%, while imports were valued at over $7.57 billion, an increase of 21.5%.
The main goods that Cambodia exported were garments, fruits and grains, machinery and electrical equipment, vegetables, footwear, rubber, furniture, and processed agricultural products.
Cambodia's major trading partners include China, with a trade volume of over $4 billion, up 26.7%; the United States, with $2.5 billion, up 22.4%; Vietnam, with $2.3 billion, up 0.7%; Thailand, with $1.1 billion, up 2.2%; Japan, with $656 million, up 29.5%; Canada, with $294 million, up 15%; along with several other countries.
